Gantt Chart View Preferences Dialog

General

Display 'Allocated To' after task's gantt bar
Displays the name of the person allocated to this task after the gantt 'bar' on the right-hand side.

Show '% Complete' as progress on task's gantt bar
Displays the degree of completion for the task as a progress bar inside the gantt 'bar'.

Auto-scroll to task when selecting
Horizontally scrolls the view to ensure that the 'bar' of the selected task is visible after selection.

Treat tasks with the following tag as 'Milestones':
Tasks having the specified value as a 'Tag' will be displayed with a diamond shape at the location of the 'Due' date.


Colours

'Weekend' colour
Specifies the colour with which to draw the days specified as weekend days in the Application preferences.
Note: This only applies when in 'Weeks' or 'Days' display modes.

'Today' colour
Specifies the colour with which to draw a vertical bar corresponding to 'Today' for easy visibility.

'Bar' colour for tasks having no colour
Specifies the colour with which to draw tasks having no active colour. Otherwise such tasks will be drawn using the default Windows background and border colours, typically 'white' and 'grey'.

Parent Tasks

  • Use default colours
  • Use no colour
  • Use this colour

Dates

Auto-calculate parent dates to include all subtasks

Calculate missing 'Start' dates as being the earlier of the task's 'Due' date and 'today'

Calculate missing 'Due' dates as being the later of the task's 'Start' date and 'today'
