The setting you showed me does exactly what I needed.
I'm sorry, I hadn't seen the specific settings for the GANTT chart. I thought the general settings also included those.

Tasks without due date appear in GANTT with due date today
If I create a task and remove the start date and the due date, in GANTT the task appears with due date today.
The "Treat tasks without a due date as meing due 'Today' " setting doesn't seem to work.
