Re: Save deleted tasks to a 'recycle bin'
ah yeah I forgot all about that (since that happens in the background. that would be my "3rd level" trash can to dig I guess. I think for now probably my best practice for my use is to #1) mark it done (strike out) then move it to a #2"Temp Dump" TaskList by the month which I'll clear or delete off ...

Re: Saving Spreadsheet contents to an external file
awesome no worries! I mean as it is it is pretty usable even if it is a 3rd party plugin, sometimes I plug my ToDoList USB into computers that don't have excel or internet (for my google drive spreadsheet) and sometimes I just need that basic =sum function . I don't know maybe you can set a prompt w...

Switching comments to Spreadsheet format loses previous contents
I also just found out if lets say 1) I create a task, Comments = I type "This comment is in SimpleText /RichText/HTML" switching in between them is harmless 2) I switch to Spreadsheet, it gives an empty new spreadsheet without any of what I typed in 1) 3) I type anything like "this comment is in spr...

Save deleted tasks to a 'recycle bin'
I seldom use this other software now (ever since ToDoList/NotePad++) other than for a "temporary holding" before I cut and paste called ATNotes (it's a yellow post-it-note desktop) also, is there a feature where if I delete a task, it goes into a "Recycle Bin" , so in case of any accidental deletion...

Saving Spreadsheet contents to an external file
1) I create a task, TestTDL. change to spreadsheet mode 2) Type something into a cell 3) inside the spreadsheet function I save an test.xls file. However, whatever changes I make inside this TestTDL does not reflect in the external test.xls file until I manually save/export it. so yea I learned the ...

Conflict between Spreadsheet editing and app keyboard shortcuts
I have hotkey "K" set as "locK task" , so that usually works fine if I were to select TASK and doesn't affect my typing. but inside this spreadsheet function, the K is gone, so yes I am typing "I am unable to loc* the tas* and *eeping my wor* saved." kinda situation.

I am using 8.1.A9 , please correct me if any of these have been fixed in A10 (I just saw) I just found out there's a Spreadsheet function and really loving it because I have been using Filelinks to my .xls inside my ToDoList\XLS\ folder. ok here's what I found out about it , I wouldn't call them "is...

Re: Comments Window Scrolling issue
sorry for the late response, slammed with work and I updated my ToDoList version to test see how this works, it's great now even with the simpletext. I found out more about the spreadsheet, which I will open another thread . Thank you!
