Gantt chart view does not maintain alignment between windows

When in Gantt view mode, scrolling with the mouse wheel only scrolls the side of the screen that has the mouse focus. In the attached recording the some steps were missed. However, the issue can be seen by comparing the 2nd and 3rd images. The left side did not move but the right side scrolled up several lines. Using the arrow keys does not have this issue.

Can you attach a copy of your Preferences (ToDoList.ini) please?
Also, is the issue reproducible every time you mouse-wheel, including after restarting the software?

Yes, it is reproducible every time I use the mouse wheel. I tried restarting today but it did not have an effect.

Thx for that, though I'm still having no luck reproducing it.
If you close TDL and rename your ToDoList.ini (so the app generates a clean set of preferences), does the problem occur after you restart?

Yes, it still occurs after I rename the ini file with TDL closed and restart. Previously I tried it using a different type of mouse (bluetooth vs usb) as well as a different machine. It still happened in each of those cases. I can't think of any reason why you would not be able to reproduce it. Let me know if you think of anything else for me to try.

I've seen it before and it depends on a very specific arrangement of circumstances
A new experiment:
1.
Download 8.0.13 and unzip to a new location
2. Run ToDoList.exe and accept all the defaults with no changes (not even language)
3. Before doing anything else at all, run 'Help > Record Bug Report'
4. Carry out whatever actions you need to reproduce the problem
5. Attach the new bug report here.

Actually, you are right. That is a little embarrassing because I did not realize that when I doing the bug report. The issue occurs whenever there are separate windows such as task list, list view, workload and the gantt chart. But I experience it on the gantt chart because that is where I do my planning. In that mode I usually display all incomplete tasks in an expanded view and scroll up and down using the mouse wheel.
P.S. I just saw your new message. I will try that experiment.

Not a problem. The 'Task Tree', 'List View', 'Gantt Chart' and 'Workload' view are all based on the same low-level code for synchronising two scrolling windows so I know that this problem can appear on any or all of those views.
Most of them I have found but clearly there are some outstanding instances.
