Copy Task using Ctrl-Left Mouse Button Causes Hang Topic is solved

When I Ctrl-Left click on a task and drag it to another task and drop the task, ToDoList hangs.

Wanted to help Dan out to see if I could reproduce this one, but I have to use a proxy to access the forum and I am unable to download the posted files with the few different proxies I tried. I am not even able to copy the links without the proxy injecting its part of the URL. Not sure how I can reproduce it.

Speaking for myself, I am not posting any additional bug reports, suggestions and such while Dan is on the mend beyond what I have already posted so as not to add to the backlog when he returns. I can always post them later. Don't want him to feel overwhelmed on top of his already tough situation. Hope he recovers soon... already miss his great work!

If I had the time I would down load the code myself and debug it. I looked at the code about 5 or 6 years ago when Dan took some time off.

Hi Craig. Not your fault. I'm unable to download any links here because the proxy I have to use to access this forum won't let me do it. Hopefully someone else can download them and at least reproduce the bug to confirm it to try to help Dan out when he comes back.

I've reproduced this bug too with a a fresh install of TDL 8.0.20 and the Sample tasklist. Just drag and drop a task with Ctrl pressed and it hangs. Hopefully Dan will fix easily this one.
