Quick Find with Ctrl+F hotkey when Main Toolbar is off

Post by ocie » Mon Oct 21, 2019 11:22 am

Hello. I want to hide all toolbars and work only with hotkeys and main menu and context menu (to save some space and for modest look, that I prefer). But if I do this, i lose Quick Find feature, because its text-edit control located on the main toolbar. This control is only feature on all toolbars, that I need. It would be very nice, if Quick Find control appears as floating mini-bar anywhere, when ctrl+F pressed, and main toolbar is hided. Modified screenshot provided. Thanks.

AutoHotkey can handle it: get the name of the field -> assign a hotkey for the field to make it active. Or you may also make a GUI interface for this purpose
