Defunct Android App? How about replacing it?

I don't know if the source to the Android app is available for someone else to pick up, but I think mobile is an essential part of any kind of task/work/time management software now.

I had the discussion with MLO's Andrey about a zillion years ago about creating an Android/iOS app, and I argued that a mobile app would be very valuable even if it was largely read-only, but with the ToDo List being interactive*. In other words, I could sync my phone with my desktop, and then on my phone, I could 1) see what I have to do, 2) mark those things off, 3) report that back to my desktop.

Obviously, you could add features from there, if you wanted, but this lightweight app seems like a quick way to provide a lot of functionality.

*MLO went on to build a full-featured app that exists now, but it wasn't available for (if I recall correctly) about two years from the time I suggested my lightweight checklist.
