Week Planner : future occurence of certain recurrence types not displayed in the hour grid
Hi Dan,
Thank you very much for your great work. I use your amazing software every day.
I like the week planner.
I notice that the future occurences of certain recurrence types are not displayed in the hour grid, but in the top zone.
That's the case for "MONTHLY every _ month", "MONTHLY the _ …day of every _ month", "YEARLY every (april) (26)", "YEARLY the _ …day of (month)".
I include printscreens. Todolist 8.2.B2
Would it be possible to make them appear in the hour grid ?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Week Planner : future occurence of certain recurrence types not displayed in the hour grid
Hi William
The tasks you have highlighted appear to span multiple days which is why they only appear at the top.
If this is not correct, can you take a copy of 'Introduction.tdl' and modify it to produce the same issue you are seeing, and then attach it here please?

Re: Week Planner : future occurence of certain recurrence types not displayed in the hour grid
I have made a copy of introduction.tdl and modified it to produce the same issue. all these tasks have a start date 24/04/2023, due date 24/04/2023, and all have a start time and a due time.

Thx William, I can reproduce it from your example.
Re: Week Planner : future occurence of certain recurrence types not displayed in the hour grid
Thank you Dan for fixing Week Planner display of yearly future occurrences in 8.2.B3 [update : is not yet fixed for yearly future occurrences]
In 8.2.B3 : Monthly every _ month : displays in the hour grid at first , but for some tasks -after restart of todolist- it's no longer in the hour grid but displays in the top zone. For some tasks it stays in the hour grid.
I include a new introduction.tdl

Re: Week Planner : future occurence of certain recurrence types not displayed in the hour grid
Thx William, I did observe when fixing the Yearly examples that some of the Monthly options might also be problematic.
[Update] Seems to be a slightly different problem related to 'numerical rounding'. The task starting at midday has no problems because its time component is 0.5, but the one starting at 11.00 can have a calculated time component of 45040.479166669997 or 45040.479166669994 (different last digit) which plays havoc with checking for equivalence.
Good catch.

Re: Week Planner : future occurence of certain recurrence types not displayed in the hour grid
I include some "MONTHLY every x month" examples and a new introduction.tdl. made in 8.2.B3
(future occurrences of red ones show in top zone instead of hour grid)
