HOW TO ANONYMISE YOUR TASKLIST

Hi All

Sometimes I can't reproduce a reported bug without also getting hold of the tasklist itself.

However, I am very aware of the level of trust this requires and whilst I can state explicitly that I have zero interest in the content of any tasklists other than my own, I can also see that this may be insufficient.

So I've written into 8.1 a feature to anonymise all text within a tasklist so that the 'essence' of the tasklist is maintained without the actual content.

1. Run 'ToDoList.exe'
2. Open your tasklist normally
3. 'Tools > Anonymise Tasklist'
4. Accept the prompt to open the anonymised tasklist so you can check it.
5. Use the anonymised tasklist in your bug report - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
6. Provide me with the anonymised tasklist and your preferences (ToDoList,ini)
