Recognition for Active Involvement

Post by abstr » Fri Jan 17, 2025 1:59 am

Hi All

I've decided to start recognising specific people on the forum who have contributed significantly to the software over the years.

The 2 forms of recognition are:

1. MVP (Most Valuable Person)
MVP.gif
MVP.gif (1.3 KiB) Viewed 394 times
2. VP (Valuable Person)
VP.gif
VP.gif (669 Bytes) Viewed 394 times
This recognition is entirely discretionary, ie. It depends both on the quantity of your posts and, more importantly, on the quality of those posts, Specifically the amount of effort you have made to report bugs or make suggestions.

I'm reluctant to call people out publicly, but in one case I'll make an exception and identify @Ryan as an exemplary contributor, both in the quality of his posts and in the challenging questions he raises when aspects of the software are not immediately clear. I strongly recommend looking at his bug reports to see how much of an effort he makes and why he is the first MVP.

ps. Translators will automatically get VP status.
