Dear all,
I'd like to use the "week planner" more intensively to plan my tasks.
I guess certain values for "start date", "due date" must be assigned to a task
to appear them in that view. Unfortunately I could not figure out how to..
Any ideas who this can be achieved?

Yes, you have to allocate dates to tasks to have them appear in the Week Planner, however there are also various visibility options in the Week Planner specific preferences dialog which might be of interest.

In fact, I have encountered a similar issue. Under the default settings of the program, I set start and end times for tasks in the task list, but these tasks do not display in the weekly schedule unless I deselect the option 'Hide tasks without start and due times' within the weekly plan settings. This seems somewhat counterintuitive, and I am uncertain whether this is a bug or not. I am hoping to receive your response on this matter.
