1) Is there any way to see a list of all currently set reminders? (not triggered reminders but set reminders that have not yet been triggered)?

Only by switching to the 'List View' and sorting by the 'Reminder' column.

2) Can you explain the effect of each of the two preferences highlighted in 'Image #1' below related to reminders?

'Show Reminders as dates and times' refers to how reminders are shown in the 'Reminder' column of the 'Task Tree' or 'List View'.

'Only flash the reminder window...' refers to whether or not TDL keeps blinking the reminder window's title bar for unhandled reminders
