How to preserve 'Reminders' with a parent recurrence dependent subtask structure?

I had a heck of a time coming up with the 'Subject' for this question but I hope the question is clear. I don't have much hope that this can be solved but I thought I'd bring up the issue anyway.

I really like setting up recurring task trees with the following structure instead of making each subtask recurring:

EXAMPLE:
Image

The main advantage of making only the parent task recurring is that (as you can see demonstrated in the image) you can see which tasks are completed in the current recurrence cycle. If you make each separate subtask recurring, you cannot easily see which tasks are completed and which tasks still need to be completed in the current recurrence cycle. I find this structure much more clear and use it whenever possible.

With this structure, once you set 'Parent' to completed, all of the subtasks also advance their dates.

BUT!

Now that I fell in love with reminders, I suffered a panic attack when I realized that with this structure, any reminders that are set for the subtasks are removed when the task is marked completed (makes sense of course it was just a bad emotional revelation the instant I realized I will have to choose between using this structure and using reminders).

If I abandon this structure, and instead make each subtask independently recurring, I will preserve the reminders for the next recurrences, but I will lose the ability to see which tasks are completed in this recurrence cycle.

I mean which of your loves do you throw overboard? Ever see a grown man cry? :|

You mean, apart from me?!

Let me take a look, it might be reasonable to treat the reminders of non-recurring subtasks of a recurring parent the same as-if the subtasks were explicitly recurring.

After all, they are _implicitly_ recurring...

Yep, I can put that in 9.0.
