Regarding Weekly Plans and Task Trees

Post by Azure » Mon Jan 15, 2024 3:07 am

Can tasks that have already been created in the task tree be added to my weekly plan? The new tasks I create on my weekly plan will appear directly in my task tree, but I cannot schedule time for tasks that have already been created there. Is it because I haven't mastered how to use this method?I look forward to hearing back from you.

Yes.

If you assign Time attributes to tasks in the Task Tree they will appear in the Week Planner.

If you do not assign Time attributes to a task in the Task Tree, then in order to see it in the Week Planner, you must UNcheck the Week Planner preferences box in the screenshot below. These preferences can be found by clicking the gear icon at the top of the Week Planner view.
