Addition of "Goals" or "Target" attribute.

Many habit trackers do this functionality. There are even dedicated apps on android to facilitate this process of tracking daily goals.

I'm specifically talking about a "Counter" functionality to the app which can help me as a student track how many complex questions I've solved today or fitness enthusiasts their exercise reps.
These goals can be varied from task to task.
Say I want to do 10 questions each day. I can add 10 to my target and as I start completing question, similar to how I use shortcuts to increment percentage I use a shortcut to increment this goal. Eventually results are reflected in percentage section.
And now that I think about it, it can also help me track scores since I could use subtasks as different subjects or topics and parent task can reflect my over-all percentage.

Apologies if I've missed some option that allows me to do it already.
Thanks for such a great app. The amount of work you put into this is commendable.

Hi @ConEst

Did you have in mind a very specific type of 'attribute with behaviours', or does it fall within the existing 'Custom Attribute' types?

Code: Select all

View > Custom Task Attributes

You are right, Sir.
After playing around with it for a while I could make certain attributes to fit my usage.

However I would also need to clear the data in "Current" each day then add a new one and it would hamper my ability to observe my performance overall.

Through this I was going to allude to a larger picture leading to a new Task view.
Habit Tracker
Now of course, in its present version you could also carve a habit tracker to your liking.
I use Loop Habit Tracker in my android so my suggestions are based on my usage of the app.

- We could have two Type of Attributes to track habits - One Being a checkbox and second being an Integer or Decimal.
- Leverage Graphs view to track habit streaks.
- Certain frequency tweaks that allow us to modify it to - At least 3 times per week.
- Some conditional formatting so we could easily see how well we are performing.

A crude representation -
