Completion of monthly tasks Topic is solved

Hello,
how do I confirm a monthly task so that it appears again next month. Marking the done checkbox does not trigger in the program.

Are you saying that the recurrence is already set and marking it completed is not advancing to the next recurrence?

That could happen if this recurrence setting is set as follows:



If this is the case then you will have to set the completion date to the current 'Due Date' or later or the dates will not advance to the next recurrence.

(it's slightly more complicated than that but I don't want to cause confusion with my answer).

So try setting the completion date to the current Due Date and see if it advances.

You can avoid this issue by setting this field as follows:



Or 'From start date'

If the recurrence is not already set then you must set it...

Select the task, go to the main menu and click ...

Code: Select all

Edit>Other Task Attributes>Edit Task Recurrence

Or click on the Recurrence attribute in the Attribute Editor.
