[Core] Focus subtree

Post by char101 » Fri Oct 02, 2020 3:54 am

Hi,

One of the problem with tree organization is the tree can be too long and thus become complex. One of the feature used to deal with this is to be able to select a node and make it become the tree root temporarily. If it is possible I'd like to suggest this feature.

An example is the zooming function in workflowy: : https://iterationz.files.wordpress.com/ ... flowy3.png

Thanks.

That's right, thanks. I didn't think selection is also a criteria of filtering.

By the way, is it possible to change the default options of the selected tasks filter to show all subtasks?

In the previous program I used this was called a "Hoist" feature. I think that's the term they use in formal outlining structure.

I really like the way it's done here in TDL. I find it very useful.
