Gantt View in hours missing Topic is solved

Hello,

Using this tool i ran into some behavour that i cannot explain yet. I noticed that the Gantt chart view has a view in hours. At least when starting with a task list. I have a reasonably filled list now but suddenly the 'hours' view cannot be selected anymore. Is there a reason for this or is this a 'feature' ;-)

When the overall duration between the earliest task start date and the latest task due date exceeds an internal (Windows) limit, some of the display options have to be dynamically removed.

However, Version 7.3 (not ready for production use) allows you to dynamically modify the displayed date range so that 'Hours' is always available.

I've stumbled upon the same problem... but after downloading Version 7.3 i still can't find an option to deal with the issue

how exactly can I manually select the displayed date range?

(or to pose my question differently... is it possible to have tasks without a date-range? (e.g. something like task-folders?) )

Just don't assign the task dates!

Hey, thanks for the quick reply!

... and sorry this was entirely my fault... I had a minimized instance of ToDoList running in the
background and the newly downloaded .exe just opened the old instance instead of the new one...

after closing the previous version everything works as expected!
(including "not assigning the task-dates")

thanks for providing this nice piece of software! ... I'll put it to good use now :-)

I've just realized that the "autoscroll to selected task" option is no longer working properly in the dev-version!

Can you repost this as a bug please after reading the bug guidelines...
