Unexpected Values in Time Columns

Hi,

I have am just starting to experiment with a small subset of ToDoList's time-tracking features.

In the screenshot, you can see I have two tasks, one with a Time Estimate 4 hours and one 8. The Time Estimate and Remaining Time columns for the parent task both show 12 hours, which is what i would expect.

If I now set the completion on Item 2 to be 25%, The Remaining Time stays at 12 while the Time Estimate decreases to 10. This is the exact opposite of what i would expect. i would expect the Time Estimate to remain matching the value set in the field at the bottom of the screen and the Remaining Time to be the one that decreases.

This is probably just a question of my not understanding terminology but I'd like to make sure I have this right before I try to use this on a real project.

Kind wishes - Patrick

Hi Patrick

I've only just switched to this forum and I haven't yet got the permissions exactly right and I managed to block the image you attached. Can you reattach it please?

ps. Just edit your original post and I'll delete this response.

Very sorry but I'm learning the forum too and have only just figured out how to turn on notifications, so I've only just realised you require more information of me. Not sure I still have the image. I'll have a look. Failing that, I'll see if I can reproduce it.

Thanks for looking. Hopefully get back to this soon.

- Patrick
