Differences between the 8.0.5.0 and the 8.3.0.0 version

Post by Rnkwrkstdnt » Fri May 17, 2024 6:21 am

Hello,

We are currently using the 8.0.5.0 version in the company.
We are now considering switching to the latest 8.3.0.0 version.

The question now is:
is it worth it?
What new features will I gain?
What are the concrete improvements of the new version compared to the old one?
What has changed?

Many thanks in advance

With kind regards
Rnkwrkstdnt

Hi @Rnkwrkstdnt

A lot has changed since 8.0.5 as you can see in the summary below.

And since 8.3 has only just been released I would expect there still to be issues that will not appear until it receives a greater uptake.

If this concerns you, you might prefer to upgrade to 8.2 first since that was released nearly 12 months ago and has had numerous bugs fixed.

Main difference between 8.0 and 8.3

Post by Rnkwrkstdnt » Wed May 29, 2024 12:44 pm

I have already been given a long list of differences between 8.0 and 8.3.

Now the question is, which of these is really a big difference or a big step forward?

Thanks in advance for your opinion

Hi @Rnkwrkstdnt

There is no way anyone else can make that decision for you without knowing exactly how you currently use the software.
