Attribute Visibility Preferences

(Menu Bar > Tools > Preferences > User Interface > Column/Attribute Visibility)

Note: These settings ONLY apply to tasklists that have NOT been previously opened.

For tasklists currently open or which have been previously opened you should use the Attribute Visibility Dialog to modify the visibility of columns, edit fields and filter bar fields.

Default Attribute Visibility for New Tasklists

Check the boxes of those attribute values that you want displayed as columns in the task list (useful if certain attributes are not relevant to your needs).

Manage edit/filter field visibility

Always show all available fields
This option will display all edit and filter bar fields regardless of which columns 'rows' are ticked.

Note: The edit and filter bar 'columns' are disabled in this option.

Show fields whose corresponding column is visible
This option results in the display of only those edit and filter bar fields whose corresponding column 'row' is ticked.

Note: The edit and filter bar 'columns' are disabled in this option.

Control each field individually
This option gives you total control over which edit and filter bar fields will be visible in the user interface.
