This may simply be a misunderstanding I have with the way ToDoList works but the filtering on a custom attribute does no appear to function as I would expect.
In the attached TDL file, I have a custom attribute specified as shown in the attached screenshot. Note that it is defined as being filterable and has three fixed values.
In the second screenshot, I show the main tab, on which I have set a filter of 'Printed (Paper)' for this custom attribute, yet the display still shows other items that do not have this value.
Is this something I am misunderstanding or is this something that needs investigation?

TDL always displays the parents of matching tasks in the 'Task Tree' so that the context is clear.
If you don't want to see non-matching parents, you can try switching to the 'List View'.

I kind-of knew this couldn't be a bug. Can't believe I didn't spot the simple pattern that the 'unwanted' items were all parents. Doh!
